Alan has been in the Insurance industry for 15 years.  He has always considered the position one of education.  He began his career out of college as a science teacher in Lake Jackson Texas. He invested 10 years in the field and received “Teacher of the Year” recognition by his peers in 1998 when children arrived, Alan knew an extra income was needed and chose to enter the insurance industry.

Alan began his insurance career with the Hartford and soon developed into one of the top agents for the company. Alan spent 10 years with Harford helping clients with Life Insurance and Retirement planning.  In 201, he decided to make a change and focus his attention and talents servicing the needs of the senior market.  He is keenly aware of the difficult and sometimes confusing decisions that lay ahead in regards to transitioning into retirement.

Brown and Associates offer complementary Education Based Workshops to help guide individuals in making informed and educated decisions in the areas of Medicare Planning, 401K-Pension planning, Long Term Care, and Life Insurance.
